Onesto’s company goal is to bring positive change to the world through sustainable business practices, creating gainful employment opportunities, saving our consumers money, and providing people with safe, effective products made with love.

Our founder started her hair journey 2022 after doing the worst to her own hair - black box dye on naturally blonde hair *for a year* and then trying to undo it. ☠️ After harrowing home bleaching sessions, over $1000 in hair products, and a few months later, she realized just how much cosmetic companies were overcharging their customers for products that barely worked and certainly didn’t help her hair recover.

She told her friends about her disastrous hair journey and heard the same story from all of them. They were spending $100s a month on products that didn’t deliver results contained cheap ingredients that were harmful to their skin, their hair, and the environment. Something had to be done! So, she started researching and learning about the structure of the human hair. She formulated the first version of the 3 in 1 product in summer of 2023 from high-quality, plant-based, and natural ingredients. Eleven versions and months of testing later, she landed on the final version and founded Onesto in November 2023.

Onesto is the Italian word for honesty, one of the core values of the company. Our founder’s education is in physics, chemistry, and mathematics and she started her career in aerospace. Through the winding path of life, she landed on her true professional purpose and centered her career on product quality, ingredient procurement, and consumer advocacy.

Onesto was founded with the intention to provide customers with products with simple, understandable labels and pure, safe ingredients that are beneficial to your skin and do the least harm to the environment. The product packaging is provided by Neopac, an award-winning Swiss packaging company at the very forefront of sustainable, recyclable product packaging. The tubes for the 3 in 1 product are made from a fully recyclable sugarcane-based plastic film. The ingredients in Onesto are tested at the same standards as dietary supplements because customer safety is one of our top priorities.
